Krokbragd is a traditional scandinavian weaving technique. Traditionally often used for wall hangings and bed throws. The technique is a bound weave, meaning that for each "line" in the pattern, the weft passes through 3 times. This creates a very thick and sustainable fabric. The thickness of the fabric means that it will have some insulating and protecting properties if you place warm objects directly on top of it.
